If you want to add some color to your model, the usual process involves using an airbrush, loading paint, and wearing a protective mask. Not only is this time-consuming, but it also requires a high level of skill. Our acrylic marker set can change all that, making coloring much simpler!
What are the advantages?
1,Simply shake the marker a few times, open the cap, and start painting right away. It's that simple—no complicated steps involved.
2,Soft-tip design ensures even ink flow for consistent coloring. Smooth application requires no complex techniques, resulting in a flawless lacquer finish with virtually no brush marks.
3,Available in 24 standard colors and 24 metallic colors. Covers nearly all commonly used colors required for model making.
How to use?
1,Before use, shake the marker up and down about 20 times to ensure the ink is evenly distributed. After use, promptly replace the cap. Store the marker vertically with the tip pointing downward.
2,When applying paint, follow the principle of multiple thin coats. After the first coat, regardless of whether the finish appears perfect, do not worry about it. Allow it to rest for 2-4 minutes (time varies depending on ambient humidity). Once the surface develops a matte texture, proceed to apply the second coat. The perfect finish will emerge once the pigment dries. Note: Differences in base colors and topcoat shades may occasionally require 2-3 repeated coats.
3,After painting, allow 24 hours before proceeding with other steps such as applying water decals or spraying protective coatings. (Metal markers take longer to dry. To speed up the process, use a heat gun or model oven.)
F.A.Q.
1,Regarding Color Deviation -- When applied to parts with different base colors or under varying lighting conditions during photography, slight color variations may occur. If you require extremely high color accuracy, please use with discretion.
2,About Ink -- Both standard and metallic inks are water-based, non-toxic, odorless, safe, and environmentally friendly.
3,Is the paint finish durable? -- Once the paint is completely dry, it will not rub off when touched. To achieve an exceptionally durable finish, you will need to apply a gloss protective coat specifically designed for models. (This is a common issue encountered in model painting; whether using an airbrush or a brush, applying a protective coat to safeguard the paint surface is a universal practice.)
4,Is the paint waterproof? -- After 24 hours, once completely dry, the surface is waterproof. If removal is necessary, use medical-grade alcohol.
5,What should I do if the paint job goes beyond the boundaries? -- If pigment gets on areas you don't want it to, gently scrape off the excess with a toothpick or cotton swab within a few minutes. For larger areas or pigment that has completely dried, use rubbing alcohol to remove it.
