Dust easily accumulates on the surfaces of plastic model kits during assembly and sanding, or due to environmental factors. Typically, we use various types of brushes to remove this dust. However, because of static electricity, even after removing the dust with a regular brush, new dust particles quickly adhere to the part’s surface due to electrostatic attraction. As a result, when we apply paint to the finished parts, the paint finish is not smooth enough.
This anti-static brush effectively neutralizes static electricity on the surface of models. Using this brush to remove dust from parts before spray painting eliminates static electricity and prevents dust from reattaching, resulting in a clean, smooth finish.
NOTE: This brush features a dual-ended design. The larger bristle brush is made of conductive material to eliminate static electricity. The smaller bristle brush is made of PBT, which is corrosion-resistant. It can be used to remove dust from the crevices of models or to clean residual paint from airbrush tanks.
